Meet Your Guide

Captain Jason Hagg

Captain Jason Hagg

A lifelong fisherman born in 1974, I got my start like so many others—casting for bluegill and bass in farm ponds and trekking miles of trout streams on foot.  Eventually, a boat came into the picture—and with it, a competitive itch that led me into the world of tournament walleye fishing. In just our second event, my partner and I finished 8th out of 252 boats on the Allegheny Reservoir, and I was hooked on competing against the best around. Over the next several seasons my brother and I teamed up, earning multiple wins and qualifying twice for the Cabela’s National Team Championship through the Kinzua Allegheny Walleye Association. It was an honor to represent our circuit on the national stage at Milford Lake in Kansas and the Mississippi River in Iowa.

As my two sons grew up, I stepped back from the tournament scene to focus on teaching them the joys of fishing. Now that they’re grown and I’ve entered semi-retirement, I’m excited for the next chapter—guiding others on the waters I know and love. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned angler, I look forward to sharing my experience and helping you create unforgettable days on the water.
